Budapest, Pecs, Villany, Eger, Mad, Tokaj, Budapest International Wine Festival

This educational wine tour with an emphasis on wine appreciation introduces you to the great wines, food, and culture of Hungary. The ten-day/ nine-night trip is designed to provide a balance of culture, cuisine and tasting.

The tour’s focus is historical and boutique wines that are produced by smaller wineries where exceptional quality is the guiding force. You'll enjoy special cellar tours at unique wineries, have private tastings and meet winemakers and owners of the great wineries. During our tours, many of the award winning winemakers will give you insight to their technology and choices in their winemaking, while you enjoy authentic food and wine pairings.

Hungary’s major wine regions are lovely, historic, unspoiled, remote lands that lends to their charm. While regional offices have created wine routes, roads are often bumpy, signage is unreliable and the quality of wineries highly variable. We have created a wine tour for the discriminating traveler that visits some of the country’s top tier and award winning wineries. English professional translation is provided and the best selection of wines available for tasting.
