Itinerary Overview

Day 1

Arrive Budapest
Private airport transfer with greet and meet service to your hotel in Budapest. Massage then Welcome Dinner nearby.

Day 2

Budapest
Half day Budapest tour. Spend the afternoon at the Szechenyi Bath. Includes: Accommodation, B, L, D, entrance fee to bath

Day 3

Danube Bend
Danube Bend tour including visits to Esztergom, Visegrad and Szentendre.
Includes: Accommodation, B, L, D, transportation and guide, entrance fees

Day 4

Budapest - Eger
Continue on with the second part of the tour of Budapest, including the famous Ruszwurm café. After lunch travel to the town of Eger. Enjoy the thermal waters of Egerszalok at Europe’s only salt spa. Treatment options that are included: a 45 minutes massage and a 55 minutes facial treatment. Dinner on your own at the hotel.

Day 5

Eger
A day trip to the peaceful mountains, take a narrow gauge train to your lunch destination. Enjoy a leisurely walk while learning about the area’s xxx. Dinner with wine tasting. Eger is the center of one of the most famous winegrowing regions in Hungary and is home of the well-known red wine Egri Bikaver (Bull’s Blood).

Day 6

Eger – Budapest
After breakfast at the hotel take the walking tour of this lovely baroque town and learn about remarkable monuments including the Dobó Square, the Lyceum and the second largest Cathedral in Hungary. Visit the famous fortress where outnumbered heroic defenders, led by István Dobó, held out against the Turks in their initial attack in 1552. Travel back to Budapest. Visit the Great Market Hall and after a short orientation you will have free time for shopping. Dinner on your own.

Day 7

Budapest
Spend all day exploring Budapest. Meet us again in the early evening at the hotel to be transported to our farewell dinner. Optional: Cooking class Attend a performance at the Music Hall after dinner.

Day 8

Budapest
Airport transfer and departure Includes: B, transportation to airport.

Superior tourist class prices start at US $ 1,650 per person for 10 people, double occupancy. For less number of people the price will be adjusted. Minimum 6 people needed for tour. Land only. Deluxe class prices start at US $ 1,850
