TOUR PRICES and AVAILABILITY:
The tour prices are indicated in US dollars and are based on double occupancy and availability. All rates are subject to change without notice due to increases imposed by hotels and venues, currency fluctuation and fuel surcharges. Please refer to each tour's itinerary to confirm the exact inclusions of items and services in the tour price. Items excluded are airfare, airport taxes, travel documents and visas, travel and medical insurance, gratuities to driver, guide and escort, optional tours, room service, personal expenses. A minimum number of participants are required to operate all escorted programs.

PAYMENT: 
Reservation of tour: A deposit of $350 per person is required to confirm all services. Payment of deposit must reach our account within (7) days from date of reservation. Final tour payment is due 45 days before scheduled tour departure. For reservations made within 45 days of departure, the entire tour cost must be paid at the time of reservation.

CANCELLATION:
All cancellation requests must be in writing, and are in effect (24) hours after the date they reach our office.
The deposits are non-refundable. The cancellation fees will be as follows:

45 days prior to scheduled tour departure: 100% refund of final tour payment
36-44 days of scheduled tour departure: 50% refund of final tour payment
35 days or less prior to scheduled tour departure or No Show: No refund, 100% loss of tour payment

No refunds will be made for a cancellation during the course of the tour, nor for unused portions of the trip. No exceptions to our cancellation policy are made, including weather or personal emergency. Therefore, we strongly recommend travel insurance.

A change of trip date, tour or optional pre or post-tour extension within 45 days of the originally reserved tour departure will be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees may apply. We will not charge you for any changes made to your reservation outside of 45 days before departure. Please note that changes are subject to availability and can not be guaranteed. Similarly, if you change your reservation from double occupancy to single occupancy, you will be charged the single supplement.

Danube Destinations reserves the right to cancel a tour. In this unlikely situation, you would receive a complete refund of the monies received. Danube Destinations will not assume any other liability and is not responsible for any personal expenses as a result of a tour cancellation, such as airline tickets or pre-paid hotel reservations.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Participant is solely responsible for obtaining and paying for any necessary visas, medicines, shots, etc. and for having a current passport (valid for at least six months after termination of the trip) with sufficient blank pages for immigration and visa stamps. You are responsible for obtaining any travel documents and/or verifying entry requirements necessary for each country of travel and/or transit.  You are responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of delays or itinerary changes related to your lack of appropriate travel documents. 

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We highly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance (including trip delay and interruption, trip cancellation and baggage insurance) once a trip has been booked. Health, accident, and emergency evacuation insurance are also strongly recommended.

BOOKING CONTRACT
A complete Tour Participant Agreement will be forwarded to each tour participant upon receipt of a deposit. The Tour Participant Agreement outlines all of the terms and conditions pertaining to a tour booking, including necessary limitations on our liability, and must be signed and returned to our office prior to the tour departure. All services and prices are subject to change without notice. Following full payment, final travel documents will be sent approximately two weeks prior to international departure.

REGISTRATION
Danube Destinations is registered under the California Seller of Travel Act [CST #2091810-50].  Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California.  California has established a Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF) under the California Seller of Travel Act.  The TCRF is not applicable to these trips.  The TCRF, in any event, does not cover non-California residents and, even in the case of California residents, it does not cover any foreign travel where the foreign “providers of transportation or travel services” are not in compliance with the Seller of Travel Act (compliance being defined as registered as a Seller of Travel in California and a participant in the TCRF).  Thus, none of Danube Destinations’ trips qualify. The law requires all tour operators to advise each of their clients that they would not be eligible to make any claim from the TCRF in the unlikely event of any default by Danube Destinations or any of our foreign suppliers. California law also requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond.  Danube Destinations has such a trust account.

ACCOMODATION
We know what is expected from demanding and exacting American standards of service and quality, Hungary of course has 5 star international hotels, but this does not represent the norm here, nor can they be found across the country. As accommodations in Eastern Europe are not what they are in the United States our hotels are hand selected keeping the comfort, quality and convenient location in mind.
